A Fascination for Birds

Event Type: Speaker
Age Group(s): Adults (18+), Seniors
Date: 1/11/2018
Start Time: 1:00 PM
End Time: 2:00 PM
Please join us for a presentation by Bob Lewis on the love of observing birds and how you might get started with this hobby too. Bob says: "An interest in birds usually starts with noticing something in your neighborhood or backyard – a sparrow singing, a robin nesting or perhaps a hummingbird coming to a feeder. If you’re like me, it turns into wondering where they come from, how they fly, what birds can I see farther away… And I started photographing birds, traveling to other countries to see more birds, taking classes and then teaching them, and participating in conservation activities to protect birds. They are fascinating creatures."
