Join Sharon Sobel and dancers from Black Diamond Ballet Theatre, East Contra Costa County’s first professional ballet company, to learn more about the classic Nutcracker ballet. Hear the story, watch a dance demonstration, and listen to some of the music from the ballet. After the presentation, children will travel into the land of the sweets by crafting gumdrop pops and creating paper snowflakes for their own “Waltz of the Snowflakes.”

The Black Diamond Ballet Theatre will perform the Nutcracker December 18-20 at the Pittsburg Creative Arts Building.

For children age 4 and up. Children under 7 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
