Solar is one of the world’s fastest-growing industries, and people all over California are putting solar systems on their homes and businesses. Is solar right for you? Learn about solar technologies and the key steps to “Going Solar.” The first part of this class will cover solar electricity (PV) and the second part solar water heating (thermal). We will provide answers to frequently asked questions such as: How do they work? Will they work for my home? What about systems for my ranch or farm? How much space will I need? How much do they cost? What incentives exist? How can I find a good contractor?

Come learn the key factors to ensure a successful project and bring your solar questions with you. Presented by Pete Shoemaker, Renewables Program Coordinator, PG&E Pacific Energy Center. Space is limited, please register at ccclib.org or call 925-673-0659
